Is the drake equation really that accurate 10 points for best answer?

well i was watching discovery channel and it says there are many more factors that prevent a technological civilisation from arising such as planets must be at the right place in a galaxy as some galaxys have black holes and any planets near the orbit of a black hole will surely be destroyed and planet must be a specific size to hold its own atmosphere a planet must contain alot of metal and the type of stars planets orbit and if a planet has protection by other big jupiter like planets to decrease the amount of space objects colliding and maybe an intellectual species mighu not have advanced enough and may have other forms of dangerous life forms for example the dinosaurs which dominated the planet and many more factors so can the drake equation be that accurate when i think of this it just reminds me how we are really lucky to be living in a secure planetary comdition and the odds it could happen again.
