Are there other life forms besides us? (Besides green bulgy eyed aliens)?

There are a lot of other galaxys besides ours and it makes me wonder if there are other life forms in those galaxies. Or if there are other planets that could support life such as earth in those galaxies or if there are other suns. (If you know what I mean). Do you think in time we could discover other planets in different galaxies besides the 8 planets we already knew? (I already counted out Pluto) What do you think?
