Why do people act like they know the theory of evolution is a fact?

It's not proven fact, but there is sufficient evidence to accept it. You see, nothing is absolutely provable. However, when you have a variety of theories, you accept the one that has the most evidence until you find a flaw or another theory that has more solid evidence.
