Do You Think This Is Fair?

I wasn't allowed to use the computer for fun until I was 13. I was only allowed on Saturdays and only for 30 minutes. Yesterday I turned 17, and my mom seemed very proud and happy of her present. Her present was a statement. I was angry and shocked but didn't show it. It was that I was only allowed to use the computer for 10 MINUTES, including the time for starting up the computer and using a window, which took about 7 minutes each time. Yesterday, I thought it was a joke at first, so I still thought that I could do it for 30 min. When it exceeded 10 minutes, my mom looked at me quite angrily. She said, "Excuse me, but REMEMBER your great and generous birthday present?!" And seriously, only 3 MINUTES of computer total???!!! A teenager really needs to depend on Facebook for about an hour to deal with friends, games, and social relationships. Is this REALLY fair for me?
